Tummy Tuck

Abdominoplasty, also known as “tummy tuck”, is a surgical procedure to remove excess fat and skin from the abdomen to eliminate deformities in the abdominal region due to excessive weight gain/loss and physiological changes experienced during pregnancy. It is the most effective way to achieve a completely flat tummy.

During the surgery, sagging, stretch marks and adipose tissue are removed from above the navel and the area between the inguinal and abdomen. Loose abdominal muscles are tightened and skin is stretched. During surgery, the incision is made such that the surgical wound remains under the underwear. Patients that undergo tummy tuck surgery can eat and walk 4 hours after the surgery. The patient will have to walk slouched over for some time because of tightness in the abdominal area.
