Liposuction

Liposuction is a surgical procedure used to remove fat deposits from certain areas of the body including the cheeks and neck, arms and breasts, abdomen, buttocks, hips and thighs, and knees and ankles. Liposuction is a method to remove localized fat accumulations that do not respond to diet or exercise.

This medical technique dissolves stubborn fat in determined parts of the body so as to later extract it through a cannula using a mechanic movement. Liposuction can be combined with other surgical techniques such as face lifting and tummy tuck for a better skin tightening.

A modern liposuction procedure is conducted after making very small incisions in the skin and inserting a cannula. The fat is then broken down with liquid and a syringe or vacuum pump is used to suck it out through the cannula. There are very small scars on the skin due to incisions are very small. Wherever possible, these incisions will be made in places that are easy to hide or cover. Each scarring will quickly fade until they are unnoticeable.

CAN FAT COME BACK AFTER SURGERY?

Even though the fat cells removed by liposuction are permanently destroyed, this does not mean that you cannot regain weight again. The remaining fat cells can still expand, and new fat can emerge in an untreated area. It is important that liposuction patients dedicate themselves to maintaining their results after surgery through diet and exercise to prevent this problem. WILL
